After a scoreless first quarter, Wahl scored the first TD of the night on an 11 yard run just 41 seconds into the second quarter.  Nick Buboltz added an extra point kick for a 7-0 lead.

Following an interception by Wahl, Carrier scored on a 12 yard run and Buboltz tacked on the extra point kick for a 14-0 lead with 9:30 left in the first half.  Carrier added a second TD run at 5:28 of the second quarter on a 35 yard run.  Buboltz added the PAT for a 21-0 lead.  DL increased their lead to 28-0 when Cody Bartnes scored on a 19 yard pass from Caden Strand and a Buboltz kick.

Wahl’s 50 yard run in the third quarter capped an 8 play, 96 yard scoring drive and Buboltz made it 35-0 with the PAT.  Perham scored with 2:31 left in the third when Gage Aanenson hauled in a 44 yard pass from Blaiz Schmidt and Hudson Hackel booted the extra point.  Aaneson then picked off a pass and went 42 yards for a TD.  Hackel’s kick made it 35-14.

A 2 yard run by Hackel and his third extra point kick, cut the lead to 35-21 at the 6:20 mark of the fourth quarter.  Wahl ended all scoring with a 3 yard run and Buboltz made it 6-for-6 on extra-point kicks to tack on the final point of the Laker victory.

Perham was held to 36 rushing yards and 213 total yards.  They were led by Schmidt wo completed 11-of-23 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown.  Aanenson caught 5 passes for 128 yards and a score to lead the receivers.  Hackel had a team high 16 yards rushing on 6 attempts and hauled in a pass for 21 yards.

Carson Byer led the Yellowjackets with 10 tackles and Jackson Vetch had 8 tackles.  Sawyer Dilbeck caused a fumble and recovered it. 

Carrier, Wahl and Buboltz intercepted passes for the Lakers, while Lane Yliniemi recovered a fumble and Buboltz added a sack.
