The Pelican Rapids boys’ soccer team improved their season record to 2-2 with a 3-0 victory over Detroit Lakes on Thursday night at Brown Field.  Ivan Franco was in goal for the shutout.  The Vikings scored all 3 of their goals in the first half.  DL scored an “own goal” when trying to clear the ball to give the Vikings a 1-0 lead.  Abdinasir Omar scored the other two goals for Pelican Rapids.  The Vikings will host Minnewaska Area on Saturday at Brown Field in Pelican Rapids.
