Fergus Falls suffered a 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-11) Central Lakes Conference volleyball loss at the hands of the Alexandria Cardinals on Thursday night.  “This was a tough one,” stated Head Coach Sabrina Noon of the Otters.  “We lacked in areas that are extremely crucial to have when playing teams of this caliber.  Our energy was extremely low, which led to struggling on our serve receive and our blocking.”

Leaders for the Otters were Bella Anderson (5 aces, 4 kills, 1 solo block, 1 block assist), Karyssa Eberle (11 set assists, 4 digs, 3 kills), Brynn Sternberg (4 digs, 1 kills, 1 block assist), Macee Butler (3 digs) and Rachel Debrito (3 kills).

No Alexandria stats have been received.

“Alexandria has some big hitters, and we struggled getting our bodies across the net to get touches on their hits,” reported Coach Noon.  “When we were able to get the ball to our setter, our hitters were able to make some really good connections.  Our girls had some good moments, we just need to find the consistency to string more of those together.  Our girls are eager to find that and keep working!”
