The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm paid a visit to Fergus Falls on Tuesday, coming from behind for a 3-2 victory over the Otters.

Fergus Falls came out strong with Shane Zierden stealing the ball from a Sauk player and making a move and scoring at the five minute mark. Just two minutes later Shane Z took a throw in deep in their offensive zone, it was a perfect throw that found Jose Rodriguez who was able to put the Otters up 2-0. The Otters offense would slow down from there and the Storm would not go away. Sauk Rapids would get there first goal at the 17 minute mark. The teams went into half time with the Otters up 2-1.

Sauk Rapids came out with better ball control the second half and it paid off as they tied the game at the 57 minute mark when the Otter defense just could not clear the zone. The Storm continued to control the zone and got the winning goal at 60 minutes. Aidan Godwin had a good night in net stopping 19 of 22 shots.

Fergus Falls (1-3-0) will travel to Sartell for a Central Lakes Conference contest against the Sabres.

Sauk Rapids-Rice handled the Otter JV team, winning by a double digit margin.
