The Fergus Falls volleyball team is in the tough Central Lakes Conference and competes in Section 8AA.  The Otters, under fourth-year Head Coach Sabrina Noon, are coming off a 6-22 season in 2022, with a 2-10 mark in the CLC.  Two of their graduating seniors, Ariana Noplos and Avery Knutson are now members of the M State lady Spartan volleyball team.

Returning starters include senior Karyssa Eberle (Setter), and juniors Bella Anderson (Middle Hitter) and Brynn Sternberg (Outside Hitter).  Seniors Macee Butler (Libero) and Grey Korinek (Outside Hitter), along with sophomores Rachel Debrito (Middle Hitter) and Brook Zierden (Defensive Specialist) are expected to round out the starting rotation.  Eberle, Sternberg and Korinek will serve as team captains.

“Our team can be very hot and cold,” stated Coach Noon.  “When we are focused, we can play amazing volleyball.  Sometimes when we lack focus, it shows in the output of our game.  More mistakes are made and our energy goes down.  This team has the capability to go far this season and we are excited to take on this challenge.  Our hitters are becoming more consistent and we are making better choices with tough situations.”

Noon will be assisted by Dan Zierden, Miranda Steer, Ashley Brimhall, Sheri Smith and Laura Pearson.

Coach Noon says Willmar, Rocori and Sartell are the top teams in the CLC and Section 8AA.
