Gina Christopherson steps into the role of Head Volleyball Coach at Brandon-Evansville High School, replacing long time Head Coach, Kelly Olson.  Christopherson will be assisted by Kami Dingwall, Shyanna Behrens, Pam Schjei and Sara Weber.  The Chargers were 15-11 a year ago, finishing with a 7-2 record in Little Eight Conference play.  They will need to replace veteran setter Sydney Schaeffer, who is now at M State in Fergus Falls.

Returning starters include seniors Kylee Dingwall (Outside Hitter), Taylor Suchy (Libero) and Skylar Bitzan (Right Side).  Also in the mix for varsity playing time are juniors Taylor Dingwall (Middle Hitter), Claire Boesl (Outside Hitter), Hadley Baune (Middle Hitter), Courtney Brethorst (Setter), Hallie Richter (Defensive Specialist) and Ava Santjer (Right Side), along with eighth-grader Drea Fernholz (Setter).

“We are designing a team that will emphasize each individual team members’ strengths,” stated Coach Christopherson.  “Look for them to be intense and surprising throughout the coming season.”

Christopherson points to Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, Hillcrest and Underwood as the top teams in the conference and Section.
