Darin Stanislawski (9IP, 13K, 3BB, 3H, 1ER) improved his season record to 6-1 with a 5-1 victory over the Sauk Centre Titans on Saturday in the Region 16C Amateur Baseball Tournament in Breckenridge.  Fergus Falls broke a 1-1 tie with a run in the sixth inning and then added 3 runs in the seventh.

Sauk Centre struck for their only run in the top of the first inning when Derek Holm led off with a double and scored on a one out single by Dylan Haskamp.  Stanislawski’s solo home run leading off the bottom of the second inning tied the game at a run apiece.

The Canes took the lead in the sixth when Alex Hensch walked to lead off the inning, took second on a ground out, moved to third on an infield single by Stanislawski and scored on a sacrifice fly by Alex Hexum.

In the seventh, Austin Stanislawski led off with a single and was bunted to second base by Owen Krueger.  After a ground out, Sean McGuire was hit by a pitch.  Hensch followed with a base hit, scoring Austin Stanislawski.  Tosten Mann reached on an infield single to load the bases and a Darin Stanislawski single brought home McGuire and Hensch.

“Darin was dominant throughout, allowing only one hit after the first inning, with 13 strikeouts,” said Manager Davy Johnson

Darin Stanislawski (3-3, BB, R, HR, 3RBI), Austin Stanislawski (2-4, R) and Alex Hensch (1-3, BB, 2R, RBI) led the Canes at the plate.  Haskamp (2-3, 2B, RBI) was the top hitter for the Titans.
