The Barnesville 15U Babe Ruth baseball team won the Lake Region North District Championship over the weekend.  The number five seeded team in the tournament, Barnesville went 4-0, defeating top-seeded DGF and then beating Frazee in the title game.  The team will participate in the State Intact Babe Ruth Tournament July 27-30 in Bemidji.  It is the third consecutive year they have qualified for the State Tournament.
