The Fergus Falls 13U Babe Ruth baseball team played two more games on Friday in the 13U State Tournament at Centennial Park in Moorhead, completing two days of pool play. Fergus Falls won their first game of the day, 14-4, over Waite Park, and then lost 11-10, on a walk-off sacrifice fly to Little Falls.
In game one, Rhys Krueger drove in 3 runs to lead Fergus Falls. Eston Bethel pitched the last two innings, allowing no hits and striking out one batter.
Kaiden Reque pitched 4 innings in the second game, allowing only two hits.
Fergus Falls will enter bracket play on Saturday with a 3-1 record in pool play. Their opponent and game time is yet to be determined.
