Breckenridge Green took an early lead in the first game of their double header with the Ottertail Central Red 15U baseball team on Thursday and went on to post an 8-0 win. Breck completed the sweep with an errorless performance in the field in their 5-0 game two victory.
OTC Red dropped the first game despite throwing a combined one-hitter. Connor Ernst (6IP, 11K, 1H, 0R) took the win and Quinten Lugert threw one inning of relief. Riley Kappes had the only Breckenridge hit.
Sam Ravenscraft (4IP, 0H, 5R, 5K) was saddled with the loss. Grahm Huschka went 1-for-2 at the plate for OTC.
Jonah Kunkel (3IP, 0R, 1H, 2K) was the winning pitcher in the second game.
Kayden Schmieg (1IP, 2R, 0H, 3K, 1BB) took the loss for OTC Red. Ravenscraft was 1-for-1 at the plate.
