The Breckenridge Bucks scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings and recorded 11 hits in their 2-1 win over the Dumont Saints on Sunday.  The Bucks survived 4 errors in the field and Mitch Porter struck out 7 batters in 7 innings on the mound to earn the victory.  Hunter Wamre recorded the final 6 outs, all by strike out, to collect the save.

Wamre was also the leading hitter for the Bucks, coming up with 3 hits in the game.  Porter and Jared Aamold knocked in the runs for Breckenridge.  Aamold’s RBI came on a solo home run in the fifth.  Porter drove in Jack Hiedeman who led off the sixth inning with a double.

The Bucks play Dent at home on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
