The Brandon-Evansville softball team finished their 2023 season in a 3-way tie for the Little Eight Conference championship with Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley and Wheaton/Herman-Norcross. Junior pitcher/shortstop Kylee Dingwall (.267, 21RBI, 17R, 3.47ERA, 31K, 5-4 record), and senior pitcher/shortstop Taylin Kramer (.415, 12RBI, 20R, 12BB, 10SB, 2.42ERA, 50K, 4-3 record) were 1st Team All-Conference selections, while senior center fielder Sydney Schaefer (.400, 17RBI, 21R, 10BB, 15SB) and freshman catcher Maddie Stich (.290, 11RBI, 10R, 6SB) were 2nd Team All-Conference choices.
Schaefer (Most Valuable Player), Kramer (Miss Hustle), Stich (Gold Glove) and sophomore outfielder Hallie Richter (.333, 10RBI, 16R, 14SB, Most Improved Player) received team awards.
The Chargers were also recipients of the Academic Team Gold Award for having a team GPA of 3.75 or higher. Sydney Schaefer, Taylin Kramer and Kayla Bitzan were Academic All-State honorees.
