All former track & field records from the CGB team and the WHN team were retired prior to the start of the 2023 Border West Track & Field season. Special recognition certificates were given to all the team members who have set records for the 2023 Border West Track & Field team.
Seniors Joe Arens, Isabell Davis, Clint Determan, Zaundra Determan, Brayden Hormann, Derek Lupkes, Brady Pederson, Brylie Schultz, Ian Swedlund and Andrew Walker-Hannemann were awarded captain stars, their leadership will be missed.
The Boys Track and Field Team achieved gold status with the Minnesota High School Coaches Association. The following boys team members achieved Academic All State status: Joe Arens, Clint Determan, Drew Franzese, Derek Lupkes, Holden Rinke, and Ian Swedlund.
The Girls Track and Field Team achieved gold status with the following girls achieving Academic All State Status: Isabell Davis, Zaundra Determan, Elizabeth Franzese, Gracie Gallagher, Emily Kellen, Karter Martinek, Beth Powers, Braylen Schmidt, Julia Schmidt, and Brylie Schultz.
