The Ottertail Central 15U Black Babe Ruth team broke out the bats in a big way on Monday as they collected 18 hits on the way to a 21-5 win over PRBA Red. Kale Misegades singled in the first, doubled in the second, singled in the third and singled in the fourth to finish 4-for-4 at the plate. Rowan Finseth (4IP, 3H, 4R, 8K) earned the victory for OTC and Beck Thorson threw one inning of relief out of the bullpen.
In addition to Misegades, Ryan Despard, Thorson, Finseth, and Colton Shjerve also had multiple hits in the game. The Bulldogs also tore up the base paths as Ayden Olson came up with four steals.
Logan Schmall led PRBA Red with two hits it two at bats. Colin Dostal and Mason Olson drove in runs in a 3-run fourth inning for PRBA.
“We hit the ball really well tonight and continued to put the pressure on PRBA,” stated OTC Head Coach Evan Meece. “It was a great team win.”
