Edina Won the Class AAA State Boys Golf Championship on Wednesday at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids, compiling a two-day score of 584 (298-286). Maple Grove came in second with a 603 (311-292) and Eastview was third with a 610 (297-313). They were followed by Mahtomedi at 611 (309-302), Rochester Mayo at 616 (316-301) and Alexandria at 618 (306-312). Minnetonka (315-315-630) and Anoka (329-313-642) rounded out the team scoring.
Junior Jake Birdwell of Spring Lake Park was the individual champion with a two-day total of 136 (70-66). Sophomore Joe Honsa of Cretin-Derham Hall was runner-up with a 138 (70-68).
