Boraas earned medalist honors at the Section 8AAA Tournament at Headwaters Golf Course in Park Rapids last week with a two-day total of 4-under par 140 (67-73), qualifying for the Class AAA State Girls Golf Tournament at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids on June 13 and 14.

The 67 Boraas recorded on day one of the tournament was a career best, a course record best, and a school record best 5-under par.
