Brandon-Evansville built a 9-1 lead after three innings of their game with Sauk Centre on Thursday afternoon and went on to post a 10-1 win.  Riley Perleberg went 3-for-4 (1B, 2B, 3B) at the plate with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored to lead the offensive effort of the Chargers.  Winning pitcher Brady Perleberg went 3 innings, allowed 3 hits, walked one, struck out one and gave up one earned run.

Brandon-Evansville got the offense going right away when Riley Perleberg singled, scoring Carter White.  The Chargers added two more runs on RBI hits from Kyler Sletto and Kian Gackle.

B-E added a run in the second inning on a Brady Perleberg sacrifice fly and pulled away by scoring five runs in the third inning.  Bryce Froemming, Lucas Fuller, and Riley Perleberg all delivered RBI hits in the inning.

“I felt we played an all-around complete game versus Sauk Centre,” said B-E Head Coach Brian Perleberg. “We had offensive contributions from multiple players, received strong pitching from Brady Perleberg and Carter White and the defense made plays.  Bryce Froemming had a solid game behind the plate and Landon Sullivan had a big day at third base.  We were really happy with how those two freshmen played today.”
