Friday the Brandon-Evansville softball team traveled to Browerville to finish a suspended game from Tuesday, May 9.   Behind a complete game pitching effort from Taylin Kramer (7IP, 4H, 1BB, 9K), the Chargers were able to post a 2-0 shutout victory over the Tigers.

“This was a big win for us and always nice to end the regular season on a positive note heading into playoffs,” noted B-E Head Coach Kasi Sieling. “Taylin threw the ball really well and did a nice job of throwing strikes and letting her defense work behind her. The defense stepped up and made some nice plays to prevent Browerville from getting anything going on the bases.

Offensively, we hit the ball well and all of our batters worked hard in the box to move runners around.”

Top hitters for Brandon-Evansville were Ava Santjer (2-2), Kendra Klimek (2-3, R), Sophie Koep (1-2, RBI, SB), Hallie Richter (1-2, RBI) and Kylee Dingwall (1-4, R).  Sydney Schaefer added a double in two at bats.  B-E had a total of 11 hits on the day.
