Ottertail Central and New York Mills had a back-and-forth battle on the softball diamond on Thursday with the Bulldogs holding on to a late lead to claim an 11-10 victory over the Eagles.  With the game tied at 4-4 after four innings, Mills scored 3 in the top of the fifth to take a 7-4 lead, however, OTC put 4 on the board in the bottom of the inning to reclaim the lead at 8-7. The same thing happened in the sixth when NYM scored 2 and OTC responded with 3.  The Eagles got one back in the seventh, but the Bulldogs were able to stop their rally and get the win.

OTC was led by Liz Lukken (2-4, 3B, RBI, 2R, 2SB), Kenady Cameron (2-2, SB, 2BB, RBI, R), Emma Dirkman (1-2, 2B, 4SB, 2BB, 2R), Hannah Radzwill (1-3, RBI, 2R, BB, 2SB) and Esme Larson (1-3, RBI).  Kaylee Trosdahl stole 3 bases and scored twice in her role as a courtesy runner.

New York Mills was led by Ayla Olson (2-4, 4RBI, 2R), Haley Korkowski (2-3, RBI, 4R, 6SB) and Kali Olson (1-3, RBI, R, SB).  Violet Radniecki had 3 steals and Grace Brasel swiped a pair of bags.
