Brandon-Evansville jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning of their game against Browerville on Monday.  It turned out to be the only time the Chargers led in the game.  The Tigers answered in the bottom of the first with 3 runs and went on to post a 13-3 victory.

In the B-E first, Riley Perleberg (2-2, BB, RBI, R, SB) singled, stole second and score on Desmond White’s (1-3, RBI) RBI base hit.  Kian Gackle was 1-for-2 with a walk and a steal.

“We just didn’t play good baseball today, it’s that simple,” stated Brandon-Evansville head coach Brian Perleberg.  “Against quality opponents like Browerville, you can’t make mistakes like we did and expect to compete.  We are looking forward to the next three days of practice, which will give us time to work on a few things and then get ready to host Pelican Rapids on Friday evening.”
