Brandon-Evansville had a pair of 5-run innings on Friday as they banged out 15 hits and held Minnewaska Area to just 3 hits in their 13-3 victory over the Lakers.  Hadley Baune (3IP, 3H, 3ER, 4BB, 2K) was the winning pitcher, and Claire Boesl (2IP, 0H, 1BB) provided two innings of hitless relief.

“The rain made for a tough start for both teams tonight, but we were able to hit the ball hard and move runners in to take the lead in the 2nd and added to it from there,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Kasi Sieling. “Haddy did a great job of battling through the rain and the defense played sound behind her and Claire did a nice job of coming in to finish the game out strong.

Our batters did a nice job of hitting the ball hard and being strong from top to bottom of the lineup. This was a solid win to end a busy week and take us into the final week of regular season on a high note.”

Taylin Kramer (3-3, 2B, SB, RBI, R), Ava Santjer (2-3, SB, RBI, 3R), Baune (2-3, 2B, RBI, 2R), Sydney Schaefer (2-3, 2B, SB, 2RBI, R), Madeline Stich (2-5, 2RBI, 2R) and Hallie Richter (1-5, 2RBI, R) were the offensive leaders for the Chargers.
