The Breckenridge/Wahpeton Storm broke open a close game in the fifth and sixth innings on Tuesday, handing the Perham softball team a 10-1 setback in the first game of their double headers. The Storm completed the sweep with a solid 12-1 victory in the nightcap.
Perham was led by Marissa Hopwood, who had a hit in each game and scored both runs on the day. Ryleigh Mickelson and Mallory Greiff also collected a hit in each game, Avery McAllister had a hit in game one, and Morgan Smith had a pair of hits in game two.
