The Parkers Prairie baseball team opened their week with a 5-2 win over Pillager on Tuesday.  Nolan Steidl had a great day as he got the complete game win on the mound, striking out 8 and walking 2.  At the plate he picked up 3 hits and knocked in a run.

Joe Johnson had a big day at the plate as he tallied 3 hits and drove in a run.  Dylan Debilzen, Zach Mrnak, Cohen Noska and Holden Truax all hit safely as well, and David Revering had a triple.

“Defensively, we had a couple of nice plays in the outfield,” reported Head Coach Derek Denny.  “Debilzen threw out a runner form center when he tried to take second on a hit in the fourth, and Isaac Grabow made a diving catch in right for the first out of the seventh.”

The JV team posted a 12-0 win with AJ Woodworth picking up the win with 8 strikeouts and just one walk in four innings of work.  Adam Grabow came in to shut the door in the fifth with a strikeout of his own.  Multiple hits came from Ben Wagner, Justin Olson and Gavin Boesl.

The Parkers Prairie Junior High team won two games from the Huskies, 7-5, and 15-7.  Eight Panther pitchers each took an inning on the day and were very effective.
