The Bulldogs’ bats started off slow, but started to come alive in the 3rd inning. A huge 10 run 4th inning gave the Bulldogs the lead, but they were unable to keep the lead because of errors.
Liz Lukken (4-6, 2RBI, 4R, SB), Kenady Cameron (4-6, 3 2B, 6RBI, R), Mily Albjerg (3-3, RBI, 2R), Sophie Akerman (2-5, 2RBI, 3R), Brooklyn Christianson (2-6, RBI, 2R), Hannah Radzwill (2-6, R) and Dealia Grabe (2-4, RBI, 2R, 2SB) all managed multiple hits for the Bulldogs. Sophie Akerman started the game for the Bulldogs, giving up 5 runs in the first three innings. Kenady Cameron relieved Akerman in the 4th to finish out the game.
“I’m extremely proud of the progress we’ve made in a short amount of time,” stated OTC Head Coach Heather Akerman. “We need to clean things up a bit, but the girls are showing they are competitors.”
Leaders for Sebeka were Samantha Stevens (3-7, 2B, SB, 2RBI, 2R), Keira Eckman (2-4, 3SB, 2BB, 2RBI, 3R), Kelcie Kuschel (2-5, 2RBI, 3R, 2SB, BB), Kylah Watson (2-3, 2B, 3RBI, 2R, 3BB), Kenzie Bullock (1-4, 2RBI, R, 2BB, SB) and Abby Rathcke (1-5, RBI, 3R, 2BB, SB). Bullock (8IP, 20H, 17R, 9ER, 1BB, 6K) went the distance in the circle for the Trojans, picking up the win.
