The Wheaton/Herman-Norcross softball team hosted Rothsay on Monday afternoon and the Warriors posted a pair of 10-0 wins over the Tigers.  Anna Bright (6IP, 7K, 2BB, 2H) went the distance in the circle, pitching a shutout in both games and a no-hitter in game two.

Leaders at the plate for the Warriors in game one were Megyn Kelly (3-3, 2SB, 3RBI, R), Emily Drewicke (3-3, 2 2B, BB, RBI), Jordyn Perry (1-3, RBI, 2R, BB) and Bright (1-3. RBI, 2R, BB).  In game two, Jadyn Kellen (2-2, 2B, 4RBI, R) and Jordyn Perry (1-4, 2RBI, R) were the hitting leaders for Wheaton/Herman-Norcross.

Katie Reber (5IP, 11H, 9R, 6ER, 2BB, 3K) took the loss for the Tigers in game one.  Rothsay managed only two hits on the day, singles from Madi Tollerud and Andrea Phillips.

The game two loss went to Madi Tollerud (4IP, 2H, 4BB, 5K).

"We struggled both offensively and defensively today," said Rothsay Head Coach Anita Heier.  "We have a young, inexperienced team and it really showed tonight.  These girls work hard and we will continue to grow and improve as the season progresses."
