The Parkers Prairie baseball team suffered a double header sweep at the hands of New York Mills on Friday night.  The Eagles won the first game, 4-2, in 12 innings, and then Mills posted a 4-3 win in game two.

David Revering got the start for us in game one and pitched a fantastic game,” stated Panthers Head Coach Derek Denny.  “Nolan Steidl was on in relief and also threw very well.  Our bats were quiet and we couldn’t hold the lead.  In game two, Seth Sansness had the start and Holden Truax was on in relief.  Again, both pitchers threw very well and again we failed to hold the lead.”

The New York Mills JV time won both of their games, 12-2 and 15-5.

The Panthers split their junior high games, winning 5-1 in game one behind a complete game by Landon Nistler.  In game two, the Eagles won, 4-1.
