Gavin Pausch was brilliant on the hill Wednesday as he tossed a no-hitter to lead the Ottertail Central Bulldogs past Lake Park-Audubon, 9-1.  Pausch struck out seven and allowed one run in his seven innings on the mound, earning his way into the OTC record book as only the third pitcher to throw a no-hitter in program history.  He joins Bo Durbin (1995 vs Parkers Prairie) and Jeff Hamann (2010) vs Menahga.

“This is a huge milestone for Gavin and his teammates,” said OTC Head Coach Ryan Hendrickson.  “No-hitters to not come easy.  Gavin has worked really hard on his craft and his teammates made some really nice plays behind him.  It was really fun watching Gavin work and watching his teammates celebrate with him.”

Pausch also contributed at the plate with 3 hits, 1 walk, a run scored and 4 stolen bases.  A five-run sixth inning broke the game open for OTC.  The Bulldogs racked up ten hits on the day with Owen Harig and Noah Link joining Pausch with multiple-hits.  OTC also had 14 stolen bases as a team.
