The Fergus Falls softball team lost their game against DGF on Monday, 10-1. “There were a lot of good things the team did well,” commented first year head coach Devonie Smith. “We were able to get runners on base, we just struggled to string our hits together.”
The Otters had seven hits on the day, led by Karlie Petersen and Madi Budke with two hits each.
“Karyssa Eberle started on the mound for us for the first time this season and had a great showing,” said Smith. “Our defense continued to improve from the last game and we had fewer errors. The girls continue to work hard in practice and are eager for our first home game of the season on Thursday.”
