The Perham Yellowjackets traveled to Moorhead for a high school baseball game on Monday afternoon after their scheduled game with Hawley was postponed. Aaron Reierson surrendered zero runs on one hit in his four innings on the mound for the Spuds, striking out eight batters. Elijah Mack threw three innings of relief to earn the save.
Moorhead collected ten hits in the game with Cullen Wilson, Colby Asheim and Carter Heinsch coming through with multiple hits. Heinsch stole two bases and the Spuds had 9 steals in the game.
Ashton Detloff had the lone Perham hit in the game, a second inning single.
