Lane Dilly threw a complete game shutout on Tuesday to lead the Ottertail Central Bulldogs past Sebeka, 3-0.  The pitching was strong on both sides with Dilly recording 3 strikeouts and Sebeka pitchers striking out 11.  Dilly walked 3 batters and allowed just 4 hits.  “Lane was really dealing tonight,” commented Head Coach Ryan Hendrickson of OTC.  “He kept batters off balance the whole time.”

Brody Connor (5IP, 3R, 2H, 7K) took the loss for Sebeka.

Ayden Olson, Jayden Harig and Owen Harig each collected one hit to lead the Bulldogs.  Olson’s hit came in the third inning, earning the freshman his first career varsity hit.  Jayden Harig delivered a 2-run double, scoring Dilly and Gavin Pausch.

“We were fantastic again tonight in the field, as we played errorless baseball through seven innings and made some remarkable plays, including the game ender as Kale Misegades laid out for a soft line drive and made the catch to end the game with two runners on base.”

OTC Captain Tyson Misegades mentioned, “I am really proud of the guys right now.  We are having a lot of fun and playing good ball.”

The Bulldogs will now head to the University of Northwestern in St. Paul to take on the Bertha-Hewitt Bears in a double header on Thursday starting at 11am.
