Huebner Fans 14 Owls as Tigers Post 10-2 Win

Morris scored 9 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break open a tight baseball game with Hancock.  The Tigers went on to post a 10-2 victory over the Owls.  Drew Huebner struck out 14 batters, issued one walk, allowed 2 hits and one earned run in his six innings on the mound, earning the win.  Hancock starting pitcher Davin Rose was sharp for 4 innings, allowing only one run on 3 hits.  Hudson VerSteeg was saddled with the loss as the Tigers got to him for six runs in his one inning on the mound.

Leading hitters for Morris were Trevor Buss (1-2, HR, RBI, 2R, BB, SB), Riley Asmus (1-3, 2B, 2R), John Kleindl (1-3, RBI, R, SB), Ozzy Jerome (1-3, 2B, 3RBI, R), Kaleb Breuer (1-4, 2B, R) and Owen Anderson (1-4, R, BB, SB).

Donovan Curfman launched a solo home run for Hancock and Ambrose Rinkenberger drove in a run with a double.  Chase Evink had the other Hancock hit, a single.
