In 2022 the Ortonville boys’ golf team had two golfers qualify for the state tournament a year ago. They lost Owen Longnecker to graduation, but return senior DRU Boots. Boots, Bo Biever and Layne Henrich will serve as team captains for the Trojans, who are coached by Isaiah Longnecker. Longnecker is assisted by Mikayla Rasset.
Will Bakeberg, Anthony Eustice and Jaydon Hughes will also be looking to contribute in 2023.
“We have good senior leadership in our 1 to 3 positions and are inexperienced in the 4 through 6 spots,” commented Coach Longnecker. “I look at Parkers Prairie as the top team ini our conference and section.”
