The Wadena-Deer Creek girls' basketball team ended their season with an 18-12 record and a runner-up finish in Section 8AA. Three members of the Wolverines were named to the All-Park Region Conference team, Madison Carsten, Addyson Gravelle and Payton Gravelle. Montana Carsten was an honorable mention selection.
As a team, WDC received the State Academic GOLD Award with a team GPA of 3.801. Ally Pavek and Madison Carsten received Academic All-State honors.
Pavek also won the LG Award for Best Teammate. The award is named after the previous years best teammate, Lauryn Gravelle.
Ashley Pavek was named the Most Improved Player, and the Hard Hat Award (Hardest Worker) went to Payton Gravelle.
