The Frazee softball team is coming off a 15-6 season which saw them receive the number one seed in the South half of Section 8AA.  They finished with a 9-3 record in the tough Heart O’ Lakes Conference.  Losing pitcher Malena Mahoney, who is now playing for the University of Minnesota-Morris, along with Annika Reierson (C/OF), Kiley Karger (2B/SS), Claire Pausch (OF) and Anna Drewes (OF) will create some holes and some opportunities for underclassmen heading into 2023.

Returning starters include seniors Kate Vigen (OF) and Faith Hamm (IF/C), juniors Riyan Eckert (P/IF) and Ashley Malikowski (1B/DH) and sophomore Hailee Olson (IF).

“We have some experience coming back, but do have some roles that need to be filled,” acknowledged first year Head Coach Tavia Bachmann.

Bachmann, who will be assisted by Trey Heinsius, Jolene Tappe, Lynn Tappe and Stacey Schwendeman, says that Hawley, DGF, Barnesville and Breckenridge will all be tough in the HOL and Section 8AA.
