The Nuggets were led by 18 from Derek Tibbets.  Sam Senske added 15, Brevin Stoa and Noah Nelson contributed 14 each.

Tanner Giese led Crookston with 16 points.

“Really happy with how we moved the ball tonight,” said Hawley Head Coach Nathan Stoa.  “This had to be one of if not our highest assist percentages of the season.  We also did a great job on the offensive glass. Defensively, our communication was lacking at times and we lost shooters.  We need to clean that up if we want to continue playing basketball this month.” 

Hawley (16-9) will now host Wadena-Deer Creek (20-7) at 1:00pm Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the Section 8AA playoffs.  The Wolverines won their first round game, 52-50 over Park Rapids Area.
