Perham traveled to Thief River Falls on Tuesday for a showdown between the teams that will be seeded one and two in the upcoming Section 8AA boys’ basketball tournament. The Prowlers led 25-24 at the half and won the second half 23-22 to take a 48-46 win over the Yellowjackets.
Jack Manning led the Prowlers with 21 points and Jake Friedrich added 10. Manning just missed a double-double as he secured 9 rebounds.
Micah Thompson had 12 points and 6 rebounds to lead Perham. Soren Anderson registered a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Alex Ohm had a team high 7 assists to go along with 5 points and 5 rebounds. Jacob Daniels finished with 9 points.
