“It was nice to see us come out ready to go on the road tonight as we were able to jump out to a 23-0 lead,” said Head Coach John Gullingsrud of Pelican Rapids. “We played with good energy on both ends of the court and did a nice job of sharing the ball to generate good looks on offense.”

Charlie Larson and Ian Fahje led Pelican Rapids with 18 and 16 points, respectively.  Hunter Williams added 12 and Treyvon Benson contributed 11.

Breckenridge was led by Alex Sanchez with 11 points.

Pelican Rapids (13-10, 5-6 HOL) will play at Ada-Borup on Monday night and will play their final two games of the regular season on their home court, Friday against Hillcrest and Saturday with Perham.

Breckenridge (3-20, 1-11 HOL) will play at East Grand Forks on Tuesday and at Mahnomen/Waubun on Friday.
