The top-seeded West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville wrestling team took care of business on Friday, claiming the Section 6A Wrestling Team title. They won their opening round match against Ottertail Central, 66-10, beat New York Mills, 54-15, in their semifinal match, and then defeated Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie, 48-28 in the championship round. The Knights will now head to the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul for the state meet on Thursday, March 2. The Section 6A individual tournament will be held on Saturday, February 25 at Wadena-deer Creek High School.
