“The second half stayed close and the lead exchanged a number of times,” reported Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso.  “In the end, we were able to convert some big free throws and secure the win.  We had a real hard time slowing down Jessica Moberg, who scored 17 of her 22 points in the second half.”

Kenady Cameron led Battle Lake with 17 points, including 4 3-pointers.  Sophie Akerman and Morgan Malone added 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Battle Lake will travel to New York Mills on Monday and will host Ashby in their final regular season game on Friday night.

CGB has a 4-game week, beginning with a home game against Rothsay on Monday, continuing with a road game Tuesday at Park Christian and another road game Thursday at KMS, before closing out at Pelican Rapids on Friday night.
