“Tonight capped off a 3 game week for us, and it was good to come out on top once again,” said Hawley Head Coach Nathan Stoa. “Our defensive effort lacked throughout the night but we shot the ball really well to overcome that. Noah Morris was able to make a lot of really nice plays for Park that kept us on our heels as well.”
Leaders for Park Rapids were Mason Yliniemi with 16 and Ryan Carroll with 13.
“Tonight was also a special night as we were able to honor both our parents and the seniors in our program. We could not be successful without supportive parents giving our kids rides, meals, and everything else they ask for, and we are grateful for that. Our seniors Benjamin Geeslin, Derek Tibbetts, Mason Gratton, and Sam Senske have been good leaders for us throughout their years in the program, and they’re leaving good footprints for our underclassmen to follow.
Hawley (12-6, 5-3 HOL) will host Barnesville on Tuesday and will play at Pelican Rapids on Friday.
