The Cherry Tigers paid a visit to Perham on Friday night and overcame a 32-31 halftime deficit to hand the Yellowjackets a 66-56 setback at ‘The Hive’. Isaac Asuma scored 25 points to lead Cherry. Carson Brown and Noah Sundquist added 15 and 14 points, respectively. Cherry made 51% of their field goal attempts.
Micah Thompson registered a double double with 26 points and 16 rebounds. Alex Ohm finished with 11 points and 4 assists, and Soren Anderson contributed eight points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The Yellowjackets shot 45% in the game.
The loss was the third in a row for Perham (16-4). The Yellowjackets will play at Pelican Rapids on Tuesday.
