The Battle Lake girls’ basketball team won their game in Ashby on Thursday night, 62-32. “We had a nice start to the game and after a nice run to end the half, we had a 32-16 lead at the break,” reported Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso. “In the second half we played well and extended the lead for the 30 point win.”
Morgan Malone led the Battlers with 22 points and Kenady Cameron added 16.
Ashby was led by Chloe Finkelson with 10 points.
Battle Lake snapped a seven game winning streak with the win, which was their second of the season. The Battlers will host Sebeka on Monday night.
Ashby will host Brandon-Evansville on Monday.
