“Both teams came out to a slow start tonight,” commented Hawley Head Coach Nathan Stoa. “We were able to limit second chance opportunities for them and eventually we got some shots to fall. Our defense eventually was able to turn up the pace and we built a lead that we carried through the second half.”
Hawley (11-6) has won five straight games. They will host Park Rapids on Friday night.
Frazee (4-13) will play Barnesville on Saturday night at Concordia College in Moorhead.
