The Fergus Falls girls' basketball team started out fast in Sauk Rapids on Tuesday night as they opened up an 18-8 lead before the Storm scored 17 of the next 19 points to take a 25-20 halftime lead.  The Storm led by as many as 16 (44-28) in the second half and went on to win by 10, 60-50.

Courtney Paulson (26 points, 7 rebounds), Grace Roesch (17 points, 5 assists) and Mia Rogholt (9 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists) led the way for Sauk Rapids-Rice.  The Storm won the rebounding battle 36-28.

Fergus Falls was led by Karley Braeger with 14 points, including 3 made 3's.  Cyntreya Lockett made 7-of-7 free throws and scored 13 points.  Brynn Sternberg contributed 9 points and 4 assists.  Rebound leaders were Karyssa Eberle and Ruby Ellison with 5 each.

"I thought we played pretty well," said Head Coach Josh Steer of the Otters.  "We took better care of the ball but the last part of the first half hurt us again."

Fergus Falls has lost eleven in a row.  They will try to snap that losing streak with a home game against Little Falls on Thursday, before traveling to St. Cloud on Friday.
