Bemidji took a 27-26 lead in Perham on Tuesday night and went on to defeat the Yellowjackets 59-57 in a non-conference boys’ basketball game. Isaac Severts led the Lumberjacks with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Ethan Biehn scored 14. Bemidji shot 52.4% (22-42) from the field.
Perham made 45% (18-40) of their shots. They were led by 19 points from Soren Anderson, 14 from Jacob Daniels and 10 from Micah Thompson. Thompson led the rebounding effort with 7 and Evan Kovash had 6. Alex Ohm distributed 6 assists.
Perham (16-3, 7-1 HOL) will host Cherry on Friday night.
