The Morris Area-Chokio Alberta Tigers posted a 68-56 win over the West Central Area Knights on Friday night in Barrett.  Morris hit 26-47 shots for 55% and had a dominant rebounding effort in the win.

Knights Coach Kraig Hunter said, "Morris has been playing really good basketball winning 7 of their last 8 over some really good teams and tonight they played probably their best game of the year.  Their big guys inside played really well and they had some guys off the bench hit some big shots as well.  They have length and size that gave us trouble.  We got off to a poor start falling behind 13-4 and even though we got within seven points a couple of times, we just had a hard time coming back from that start.  When we had good defensive possessions, their offensive rebounding made it tough to cut into the lead."

"We looked like we had really tired legs playing a road game in Staples last night that didn't start until 8:30. Our guys played with a lot of effort and gave it everything they had."

Scoring for the Knights was Bryce Kjesbo with 12, Mitch Dewey 11, Cole Anderson 11, Ben Bye 8, Nas Dotts 7, Cash Nelson 3, Jacob Strunk 2, Sam Hanson 2.

Strunk and Kjesbo each had 5 rebounds, Anderson led the team in assists with 4 and Dotts led the team in steals with 4.

Riley Asmus led Morris with 20 points, Drew Storck had 11, Drew Huebner 11, Tyler Berlinger 6, Kyle Fehr 6, Charlie Hanson 6, Owen Anderson 6 and Rylon Larson 2.

The Knights fall to 13-5 and will host Hillcrest on Monday night.
