The M State lady Spartans are back to .500 as they recorded their tenth win of the season on Wednesday, beating Ridgewater 78-33. M State made 47% (33-70) of their shots from the floor and won the rebounding battle, 43-35. They also took great care of the basketball with only 10 turnovers on the night.
Emily Dehler had another double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Lindsey Kurz made 7-of-11 field goals, finishing with 18 points. Keely Foley hit 6-of-8 shots and 2-of-3 3’s for 14 points. Kurz and Foley each had 5 rebounds and 2 assists, and Kurz had 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. Itzel Salazar and Hailey Nelson distributed 4 assists apiece.
Ridgewater was led by Jenna Kunerth with 19 points. Mallery Geistfeld had a team high 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
M State (10-10, 2-5 MCAC South) will host Western Tech on Saturday at 1:00pm.
