"We weren't hitting our shots in the first half and they were," reported Head Coach Josh Steer of the Otters. "We made a nice run in the second half to trim their lead from 20 to 12, but they were able to knock down some shots and extend their lead again. We did take better care of the ball tonight as we had only 13 turnovers."
Moorhead also took care of the ball as they had just 9 turnovers in the game. The Spuds also won the rebounding battle, 32-18.
Brynn Sternberg led the Otters with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Karyssa Eberle, Cyntreya Lockett and Julia Hajicek contributed 4 points each.
Fergus Falls (5-9) will travel to Albany on Thursday and will host Sartell on Friday night.
