The Rothsay girls’ basketball team was a 67-44 winner in their Little Eight Conference contest with Battle Lake. Rothsay led 35-14 at halftime. “We had great contributions tonight from everyone,” said Rothsay Head Coach Anita Heier. “We shot the ball well and really battled for rebounds. It was a true team win for us with all fourteen players contributing in some way.”
The Tigers were led by 21 points from Kenadi Carlsrud. Savannah Sullivan added 14 points and Bethany Danielson had 8. Madison Tillman had a team high 12 rebounds.
Rothsay (10-6, 5-4 LEC) will host Ashby on Tuesday and will play at Underwood on Thursday and at Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Friday.
Battle Lake will host Hancock on Thursday and Parkers Prairie on Saturday.
