The Rebels were paced by Owen Leach with 33 points. Austin Anderson, Grant Anderson and Brody Friend added 9 points each.
Brevin Stoa and Sam Senske led the Nuggets with 18 and 17 points, respectively.
“Tonight our defensive effort wasn’t there,” said Hawley Head Coach Nathan Stoa. “DGF is too talented to come out flat on that end of the floor and we weren’t able to overcome. We’ll have a couple days to get our legs back underneath us to gear up for Perham coming to town for an exciting Friday night matchup.”
Hawley is now 6-5 on the season and 2-2 in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference.
DGF (8-2, 5-0 HOL) will play a non-conference game at Detroit Lakes on Thursday and will play a conference matchup in Barnesville on Saturday.
